Golden Paintworks Metallic Texture Tint Bases are the foundation for creating our Pre-Tinted Metallic Texture colors, as well as custom tinting in the studio or jobsite.


  • We recommend using small amounts of colorant, Slow Dry Fluid Acrylic colors or mixing in Metallic Paint colors to create your own palette.


  • Both the Pearl Tint Base and the Gold Tint Base can be used on their own as a bright and lively pearl or a brilliant gold.


  • Each color will produce a soft, metallic sparkle with varied sheens and movement across the finish.


  • Traditionally applied by trowel, the final finish requires no burnishing or top coating, which adds to its popularity.
